Enjoy an old fashion, small town parade. Help us celebrate our country's Independence by either viewing or participating in this totally free event with over 150 units in the parade including floats, music, marching units, church groups, civic organizations, scout troops, motorcycles, military units, horses, submarines, classic and antique cars, fire engines, beauty queens, re-enactment groups, politicians, WWII vehicles, trains, planes, and many more surprises. We are proud to honor Purple Heart recipients as our Grand Marshals. We will have a special recognition for World War II Merchant Marines. Come out and enjoy a full day of activities starting with the parade, followed by the Town of Troutman Independence Celebration festival, and ending with a breathtaking fireworks display.

PARTICIPANTS: If you would like to participate in the parade please click HERE to submit your application to the Town of Troutman. All parade applications must be submitted by June 22, 2012.

PURPLE HEART RECIPIENTS: If you are a Purple Heart Recipient and would like to participate in the parade we will make sure there is room on our honorary float for you to ride on. Please click HERE to submit an application and be sure to indicate that you are a Purple Heart Recipient on the application. All applications must be submitted by June 22, 2012.

WWII MERCHANT MARINES: If you are a World War II Merchant Marine and would like to participate in the parade we will make sure there is room on the Merchant Marine float for you to ride on. Please click HERE to submit an application and be sure to indicate that you are a WWII Merchant Marine on the application. All applications must be submitted by June 22, 2012.

VETERANS: If you are a veteran and would like to participate in the parade we will make sure there is a float for you to ride on. Please click HERE to submit an application and be sure to indicate that you are a veteran on the application. All applications must be submitted by June 22, 2012.

VOLUNTEERS: If you would like to volunteer in helping put this parade together or be of assistance during the day of the parade please contact us at info@troutmanparade.com or come to our next planning meetings on (date yet to be determined), starting 7:00 PM, at the Troutman Town Hall.
